A Beautiful Afternoon at the Ladies of Hope High Tea Event
This past Saturday, our church hosted a wonderful gathering for the women of the community: the Ladies of Hope High Tea. It was an afternoon filled with laughter, fellowship, and, of course, an abundance of tea and treats. The event, designed to bring women together in an atmosphere of grace and hospitality, was nothing short of magical.
The high tea, held in the church's beautifully decorated fellowship hall, was a feast for both the eyes and the soul. From the moment attendees walked in, they were greeted with a warm welcome and the soft fragrance of fresh flowers, setting the tone for an afternoon of connection and celebration.

The theme of this year’s event was “Authorization to Honor,” based on the powerful scripture from Romans 13:1-7, which speaks about our responsibility to honor and respect those in authority. The passage reminded us that all authority, whether earthly or divine, is established by God, and as women of faith, we are called to honor God by honoring others.
